May 27, 2016 (A348U). The ESAS Winter School on Novel Frontiers in Superconducting Electronics: from Fundamental Concepts and Advanced Materials towards Future Applications will be held from December 12th to17th, 2016, in Pozzuoli (Napoli), Italy. The school is a satellite event of the International Superconductive Electronics Conference (ISEC 2017), which will take place in Sorrento (Italy) the following year and is co-sponsored by IEEE CSC. This School is complementary to and coordinated with the ESAS Summer School on Superconducting Electronics 2016 (see A345).
September 13, 2016 (A359). Superconductivity News Forum (SNF), http://snf.ieeecsc.org/, invites Authors of contributed ASC 2016 papers to the contest for best contributed papers in all ASC program categories. You can compete for a very limited number of slots reserved for outstanding contributed papers.
August 17, 2016 (A357). We reproduce below the letter from the President of IEEE Council on Superconductivity (CSC). This announcement is addressed to SNF readers who are members of IEEE, others may disregard it. In the IEEE 2016 Annual Ballot, Institute members are strongly encouraged to vote and cast a “No” against the proposed IEEE Constitutional Amendment.

The IEEE CSC and ESAS Superconductivity News Forum (global edition) (SNF) http://snf.ieeecsc.org/ invites each plenary and invited speaker at the ASC 2016 to pre-publish her/his manuscript of plenary talk or publish the plenary slide presentation in SNF, if no manuscript was prepared.

This is the last announcement to advertise the upcoming Summer school on Superconducting Electronics that will take place on September 25-30, 2016, in Pula, Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea.
July 19, 2016 (A353). The 628th Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Seminar “Trends in Mesoscopic Superconductivity” will be held in Bad Honnef / Germany from Monday, November 14,
June 15, 2016 (A345U). A Summer School on Superconducting Electronics will be held in Pula, South Sardinia, Italy, from September 25 to 30th, 2016. This School is intended for students, researchers and engineers who want to familiarize themselves with basics of superconducting electronics and with its applications and tools.
March 29, 2016 (A336, PE9). The current SNF Editor-in-Chief, Alex I. Braginski, steps down from that IEEE & ESAS volunteer position, effective March 31st, 2016.
November 15, 2016 (A362). Applications for the 2017 IEEE CSC Graduate Study Fellowship in Applied Superconductivity opened on November 1, 2016, and will be accepted until January 15, 2017.
October 31, 2014 (A275). The International Workshop on Coated Conductors for Applications 2014 (CCA 2014) will start in less than four weeks, on November 30, 2014.
