Hello Young Professionals!

We are revamping the email list created for the Young Professionals of IEEE affiliated with the Council of Superconductivity (CSC). We have a lot of wonderful events and news in our future including the startup of a new webinar series called Superconductivity Talks! Check out below for more details about the YP SC group, about our new Superconductivity Talks series, and more!!

Our new Superconductivity Talks webinar series

Superconductivity Talks is our new webinar series that showcases Young Professionals across different superconductivity disciplines. Selected Young Professionals will give virtual talks to the superconductivity community about their research and interests. This webinar series is a great way to learn about other YP research, network with other professionals within and across different superconductivity fields, and also get experience presenting!

Our first Superconductivity Talks is this February 14th from 16:00 - 17:00 GMT (17:00 - 18:00 CET). This first talk will feature Dr. Halima Giovanna Ahmad, and the title of her talk is "Boosting superconducting electronics with the Josephson effect: towards hybrid quantum circuits and RF-applications".

If you are interested in joining the talk, please RSVP here to get a link to the virtual zoom event.

If you are interested in giving a talk yourself, fill out the application at the bottom of the RSVP page and apply to be an upcoming Superconductivity Talks speaker!

Please check out our flyer below.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the first of our Superconductivity Talks!

Cheers,

Erica Salazar and the YP committee
