Important Update: MEM+HTS4Fusion Workshop Postponed Until 2021!

(A451) Due to the spreading Corona virus worldwide, it is not possible to keep the planned schedule of the MEM+HTS4Fusion workshop in May!  Therefore the workshop committees decided to postpone the event until 2021!

We are happy to announce the new schedule for the joint workshops

will now take place at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology, Germany from June 13-18, 2021.

After the workshop, publication in a SUST Focus Issue will be offered.

In the past both workshops proved to be a lively platform to gather experts from all over the world to discuss progress and challenges within the field. The strongly connected topics of both workshops led to the decision to join effort and organize a combined workshop.

The MEM21 workshop is an opportunity to present recent progress and development of the mechanical and electromagnetic properties of LTS and HTS composite superconductors. The HTS4Fusion Conductor Workshop focuses on High-Temperature Superconductor (HTS) application for fusion research, e.g. HTS conductors for fusion magnets.

In the attached document you can find the important updated information. A "Call for Abstracts" with submission and accommodation details will follow.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Karlsruhe in June 2021!

Stay healthy and best wishes,
