October 22, 2012 (A320). We received the following call for abstracts (deadline of November 27th, 2015) signed by the ICSM 2016 Scientific Program Coordinator:
…..It is our great pleasure to announce the call for abstracts and online registrations open for the 5th International Conference on Superconductivity and Magnetism (ICSM2016) between 24 -30 April, 2016. ICSM2016 will be held in Sentido Lykia Resort & Spa and Liberty Lykia Hotels Fethiye-Ölüdeniz (Blue Lagoon) with a contract special to the attendees.
September 11, 2015 (A315). The very successful EUCAS 2015 conference held in Lyon, France, September 6 to 10th, 2015, is over. In addition to announcing it at the meeting, we inform all authors of EUCAS 2015 contributed papers submitted to IEEE Transaction on Applied Superconductivity (TASC) that SNF offers a Contest for Best Contributed Preprints.
September 1, 2015 (A313). The Organizers of MT-24, The International Conference on Magnet Technology to be held at COEX in Seoul, Korea, from October 18 to 23, 2015, posted the full technical program of this conference on the MT-24 website, http://www.mt24.org.
August 22, 2015 (A312). This is of interest only to EUCAS 2015 attendees. Nominations and self-nominations are currently accepted for the 2015 Young Researcher Prizes.
March 27, 2015 (A298). As a satellite of EUCAS 2015, VORTEX IX: Vortex Matter in Nanostructured Superconductors will be organized at Rhodes, Greece from 12 – 17 September, 2015.
February 3, 2015 (A289). The American Physical Society (APS) March Meeting will be held in San Antonio, TX, USA, from March 2nd to 6th, 2015. The program contains very numerous oral sessions on both fundamental and applied superconductivity.
January 5, 2015 (A283). Effective immediately, the SNF Associate Editor, Materials and Large Scale Applications of Superconductivity in New Zealand, is Dr. Stuart Wimbush of Robinson Research Institute, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand (NZ).
December 22, 2014 (A280). The UK Institute of Physics (IOP) Superconductivity Group organizes the 2015 Joint UK-Japan Workshop on Physics and Applications of Superconductivity to be held at King's College in Cambridge, UK, from April 12 to 15, 2015.
