May 22, 2014 (A263).  The American Physical Society accepts now nominations for the first Richard L. Greene Dissertation Award. This award, established by a generous gift from Richard L. Greene at the University of Maryland, will recognize an outstanding PhD thesis in experimental condensed matter or materials physics.

This year, from September 28 – October 01, 2014, the 22nd MAGLEV Conference will be organized in Rio de Janeiro.
