Description

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2025 Magnet Technology Conference, MT29. The MT conference series addresses all aspects of magnet research, development, construction, testing, and operation. All types of magnets are included: Superconducting, resistive and permanent. In addition, enabling technologies, such as cryogenics, are covered. We expect attendance of around 1000 of the top scientists and engineers from around the world who are involved in research and development of magnets.

Boston will be the host city for the Magnet Technology Conference MT29 in 2025. Boston has been the host city previously and we look forward to returning. Boston and the local area are the homes of MIT, the Plasma Fusion Lab and many companies engaged in developing commercial fusion devices. The tradition of past MTs will be continued in a convenient downtown location.

Peer-reviewed papers submitted by conference attendees will be published in a special issue of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON APPLIED SUPERCONDUCTIVITY (TAS).

We are looking forward to an exciting conference program and invite you to come early or stay late to enjoy the historic Boston area.
