On behalf of the Organizing Committee of MT-30, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 30th International Conference on Magnet Technology (MT-30 2027), which will be held in Busan, Korea, from October 3 to 8, 2027.

The Conference is designed to bring together researchers from R&D institutions, universities, and industries to exchange up-to-dated researches and developments on all about magnet including superconducting, resistive and permanent and cryogenics. It will provide with all participants a great opportunity to share knowledge and insights in the related field.

Busan, a host city of MT-30 is a ocean capital and a hub of logistics in Northeast Asia where modern life harmonizes with traditional hospitality. The city offers extensive multilingual signage, efficient public transportation, ICT-based infrastructure, and eco-friendly technologies, making it a convenient place for residents and visitors. Busan is truly a destination of excitement, sensory richness, and warmth.

As an ocean tourism city, Busan features seven beautiful beaches. It is also a city of festivals, hosting events year-round, including the Busan International Film Festival and the Busan International Fireworks Festival. Its close proximity to UNESCO World Heritage sites in Gyeongju and the stunning Jeju Island, just a short flight away, provides unique experiences for international delegates.

All members of the organizing committee are preparing a variety of academic and cultural programs to ensure the successful hosting of the MT-30 in Korea.
