Doctor of Engineering in Electronics from Tokyo Institute of Technology. He started his career as a Group Leader of the superconducting electronics group in Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. in 1972. Acted as President of Fujitsu Research and Development Center Co. Ltd., in China (1997-2001) and since 2002 has been assigned as a Division Director in International Superconductivity Technology Center. After retirement from ISTEC he joined SuperOx Japan. The achievements of Dr. S Hasuo were recognized by IEEE Award for Continuing and Significant Contributions to the Field of Applied Superconductivity (2011)
