5th HTS4Fusion Conductor Workshop & 10th MEM Mechanical & Electromagnetic Properties of Composite Superconductors
Event Menu
It is our pleasure to announce that abstract submission is now open for the joint workshop:
10th Workshop of Mechanical and Electro-Magnetic Properties of Composite Superconductors (MEM) together with the
5th HTS4fusion Conductor Workshop
The workshop will take place at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology, Germany from 26 June - 1 July 2022.
Please visit: https://www.itep.kit.edu/mem-hts4fusion2022/
After the workshop publication in a SUST Focus Issue will be offered.
In the past, both workshops proved to be a lively platform to gather experts from all over the world to discuss progress and challenges within the field. The strongly connected topics of both workshops led to the decision to join the effort and organize a combined workshop.
The MEM workshop is an opportunity to present recent progress and development of the mechanical and electromagnetic properties of LTS and HTS composite superconductors. The HTS4Fusion Conductor Workshop focuses on High-Temperature Superconductor (HTS) application for fusion research, e.g. HTS conductors for fusion magnets.
In the attached updated document, you can find the important information. Registration will be opened in the next weeks, a reminder will be circulated.
We strongly recommend considering flexible planning for your traveling, e.g. cancelation of flight, etc.
There will be a holding point in mid-May to assess the present situation.
